Rules and Regulations
the Grandma’s Food Facebook Contest
The following are the rules (“Rules”) for the Grandma’s Perogies Facebook Prize giveaway (the “Giveaway”) being administered by Buffalo SAV Inc. (“Grandma’s Perogies”).
1. ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for the Giveaway, entrants must be legal residents of Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, be of the age of majority or older at the time of entry in their province or territory of residence and have a valid Facebook account. Employees of Buffalo SAV Inc. and its affiliates, subsidiaries, related companies, advertising and promotional agencies and the household members of any of the above, are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway.
2. HOW TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter, entrants must like and comment on a Grandma’s Perogies Giveaway announcement post. The Giveaway shall run from Tuesday, June 25, 2024, 00:01 a.m. to Wednesday, August 21, 2024, 11:59 p.m. (the “Giveaway Period”) after which time no further entries will be considered.
3. SELECTION OF WINNER
Upon completion of the Giveaway, a Grandma’s Perogies representative shall review the answers submitted and choose a winner at random by using online random comment selection tool. Winners will be announced after August 22nd, 2024. The potential winner/s will be contacted by private Facebook message and will have 24 hours to respond and provide their contact information. If a selected potential winner/s does not respond in the allotted time, another potential winner may be selected at Grandma’s Perogies sole discretion.
4. PRIZE[S]
There are two Prizes available to be won, each of which consists of a Freshco $100 Gift Card. The approximate value of the prize is fifty dollars (CDN$100). The prizes will be mailed to the winner’s chosen and provided mailing address. The Prize is not transferable and not redeemable for cash, will not be extended under any circumstances and must be accepted as offered without substitution.
5. GENERAL
By participating in the Giveaway, you agree to abide by these Rules and the decisions of Grandma’s Perogies which shall be final and binding in all respects. Entrants who have not complied with these Rules are subject to disqualification.
Notwithstanding the defined Giveaway Period, Grandma’s Perogies reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate the Giveaway, in whole or part, and/or modify, amend or suspend the Giveaway, and/or these Rules in any way, at any time, for any reason without prior notice.
Personal information collected during the course of the Giveaway shall be used by Grandma’s Perogies and its authorized representatives solely for the purposes of conducting the Giveaway and awarding prizes and will not be used or disclosed for any other purpose unless required by law. Shaw will use the entrant’s personal information only for identified purposes and protect the entrant’s Personal Information in a manner that is consistent with Grandma’s Perogies Privacy.
By participating in the Giveaway, the Prize Winner(s) agree(s) that his/her name may be used in any and all forms of media, without any further compensation by Grandma’s Perogies and waives all rights (including moral rights) with respect to printed, broadcast and other forms of publicity.
In the event of a dispute as to who submitted an electronic entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the Facebook account associated with the entry. “Authorized account holder” of the Facebook account is defined as the natural person who is assigned to a Facebook account by Facebook.
The Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook, Instagram (Meta) and any personal information provided by an entrant is being provided to Grandma’s Perogies and not Meta.
The Giveaway is subject to all applicable laws of the province of Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
