In certain Grandma’s Food recipes, gelatin is used in small amounts as part of the formulation and is not a primary ingredient.
How is gelatin sourced?
Grandma’s Food products are manufactured in the United States. All ingredients, including gelatin, are sourced from established suppliers and meet U.S. food safety and quality regulations.
Depending on supplier specifications and availability, gelatin may be derived from different animal sources. Because of this variability, we are unable to guarantee the origin of gelatin at all times, even in products where the primary protein ingredient is clearly identified (for example, poultry-based products).
Certification status
At this time, Grandma’s Perogies and Grandma’s Food brand products are not certified under specific religious or dietary certification programs, including Kosher or Halal standards. While we maintain strict food safety and quality controls, we do not produce our products within such frameworks.
